Chris Pye finishing gouges
Developed by Chris Pye and Ashley Iles. This range of tools from Chris Pye is thinner, and also has an internal, shorter, bevel. The inner bevel allows these tools to be used 'upside' down. After the heavy modelling work these tools are used for finsihing off to a delicately facetted surface. They are to be used by hand or, only very lightly with a mallet.
